Located along one of Amsterdam’s historic canals, this residence explores the relationship between modern architecture and its surrounding urban fabric. Generous glazing draws the shifting light of the water indoors, while a restrained palette of stone, oak and brushed steel keeps the interiors calm and grounded. Every room is organised around long sightlines toward the canal, so the home feels both rooted in its street and quietly open to the city beyond.
